PRLog - Jan. 28, 2015 - HOUSTON -- February 14 and 15, Chevrolet show cars will roll into Houston, Texas for the 37th Corvette/Chevy Expo. Corvette/Chevy Expo is a unique car show particularly geared to the Chevrolet enthusiasts with a swap meet with major national vendors, cars for sale, costume characters for the children, bikini contest held at the NRG Center.

The Expo features Corvettes, Camaros, Classic Chevys, and Chevy Trucks with beautiful displays. The show vehicle exhibits will include stock Chevys with matching numbers, pro-streets, modified and full customs.

A unique Corvette on display will be the 1969 Chevrolet AstroVette. This rare Corvette was special ordered by Apollo 12 Astronaut Alan Bean (the fourth human to set foot on the moon). Its owner, Danny Reed, not only exhibits this historical Vette but also displays numerous memorabilia.

The event also offers the opportunity to shop for brand-specific automotive parts, logo apparel, memorabilia, car art, jewelry, and home decor, just to name a few. Vendors come in from across the country for this annual event. Many of the parts vendors are the actual manufacturers and will have company representatives on hand to answer technical questions about their products. There will be semi loads of parts as well as free shipping offered throughout the weekend.

For the enthusiast who is looking for a used car, the Expo has a nice selection of privately owned cars for sale in the Car Sales Mart.

This year, on Saturday, Goofy Dog, Bugs Bunny, and Transformers Optimus Prime costume characters will be on hand to greet the children.

Sunday afternoon, Vette Vues Magazine does a photo shoot with beautiful models and the dazzling show cars. At 3 p.m., the Miss Corvette/Chevy Expo swimsuit contest takes place. Swimsuit USA International, Inc. conducts the contest along with their model search. Spectators are welcome to take photos.

The Corvette/Chevy Expo is held at the NRG Center, One NRG Park, in Houston, Texas. Show hours are Saturday 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults and children 12 and under is free.

Join us for the 37th Corvette/Chevy Expo. The Corvette/Chevy Expo has a Large Swap Meet in the Aftermarket Showcase with Major vendors from all over the US selling hard to find parts and accessories by the truckload. You will also see World Class Chevrolet Show Cars. This is a concours style judged event full of awards. Chevrolets that receive 98-100 points also are presented the President's Award. Corvettes that have an NCRS Top Flight ® and a Bloomington Gold Certificate® may also go for the Tri-Power Award®. There are Cars for Sale in the Car Sales Mart, Saturday Cartoon Characters for the Children, and Sunday is a photo shoot for Vette Vues Magazine's Racy Vues column with models from Swimsuit USA. At 3 pm, the Miss Corvette/Chevy Expo Bikini Contest takes place followed by awards.

Sunday is the photo shoot for Vette Vues Magazine Racy Vues.  At 3 PM Swimsuit USA International conducts a model search in conjunction with the Miss Corvette/Chevy Expo Bikini Contest.

Saturday Cartoon Characters are on site to entertain the children.  Children 12 and under are Free at the Expo!
