Hello, my name is Charlotte, and I am a 1995 Indianapolis Pace Car (IPC) Replica, one of 527 produced by Chevrolet in 1995.

I was assembled at the Bowling Green, KY, assembly plant on March 16 under Regular Production Option (RPO) # Z4Z, which designated me as an authentic ’95 IPC. As such. I started life in the assembly process with a Dark Purple Metallic (Code 05) body, which was then over-sprayed with an Arctic White (Code 10) on the bottom half to fit the intended paint scheme for the ’95 IPC.

GM is voluntarily recalling approximately 3.64 million 2014-17 model year vehicles in the United States. The sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) in these vehicles, which controls airbag and pretensioners deployment, contains a software defect that may prevent the deployment of frontal airbags and pretensioners in certain rare circumstances when a crash is preceded by a specific event impacting vehicle dynamics.

Chevrolets that receive 98-100 points also are presented the President's Award. Corvettes that have an NCRS Top Flight ® and a Bloomington Gold Certificate ® may also go for the Tri-Power Award ®. Our Miniature Car Show included Pedal Cars, Golf Carts, Go Carts, and Small Wheels. There are Cars for Sale. New this year will be two Wash ‘n Shows, one on Saturday and one on Sunday in the front of the convention center. Sunday is the Photo Shoot for Vette Vues Magazine and at 3 pm, the Miss Corvette Chevy Expo Swimsuit Contest conducted by Swimsuit USA International takes place followed by the Awards Ceremony.

INDIANAPOLIS – Among the milestones surrounding the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 this weekend is Chevrolet’s legacy as the official pace car – an honor it has held more than any other manufacturer.

A unique version of the new 2017 Camaro SS 50th Anniversary Edition will lead the field on Sunday, May 29, driven by motorsports legend Roger Penske. It’s the 27th time since 1948 that a Chevrolet has served as the pace car and the ninth time for Camaro.

Chevrolet gathered examples of all nine Camaro pace cars at the Brickyard for a retrospective look at the distinctive design and production significance that made each of them leaders of the pack.

2017 Camaro ZL1 vs. Everybody

Add capThe ZL1 features a supercharged LT4 6.2L V-8 Small Block engine, with intake and exhaust systems tailored for Camaro. It is rated at an estimated 640 horsepower (477 kW) and 640 lb-ft of torque (868 Nm), backed by a standard six-speed manual transmission or all-new, available paddle-shift 10-speed automatic. Vette Vues Magazine Tri-Power ® Award to be offered at the Corvette/Chevy Expo in Galveston

Just what is the Tri-Power ® Award ?

Vette Vues Magazine's Tri-Power ® Award

Vette Vues Magazine introduced the Tri-Power ® Award in 2013.

For those who have been around the Corvette hobby, you will recall the famous Chevy/Vettefest show in Chicago, Illinois.  The Chevy/Vettefest offered the Triple Crown Award in which owners of Corvettes that had attained an NCRS Top Flight and a Bloomington Gold Certification could apply.

The Chevy/Vettefest is no longer in production and with that was the loss of the Triple Crown Award. 

Because of this, Vette Vues established the Vette Vues Magazine Tri-Power ® Award.  Vette Vues Magazine, Inc. Tri-Power ® Award's purpose is to honor the Corvette that has achieved the highest degree of originality, condition, and attention to detail. The Tri-Power ® Award is only available at the Corvette Chevy Expos.

Before applying, applicants must have achieved the Bloomington Gold Certification and the NCRS Top Flight status.  They must also provide proof of these achievements.

The Tri-Power ® Award is for the best in restored or original Corvettes. 

Chief Judge, William Braun, is respected throughout the collector car industry.  With his expertise, he conducts a one-thousand point assessment of the Corvette.  Those that meet this criterion are inducted into the Tri-Power ® Registry and presented a numbered certificate with their vehicle VIN prominently displayed. They also receive a beautiful engraved  9x12 commemorative plaque.

Track package returns with more technology for V8 models, first time offered on V6

CHICAGO – The Chevrolet Camaro 1LE performance package returns for 2017, poised to set new benchmarks for attainable track performance.  

The package builds off the success of the previous-generation 1LE, offering increased handling and track performance. In response to customer demand, Chevrolet will offer two distinct 1LE packages, for both V6 and V8 models, each visually distinguished with a satin black hood, specific wheels and more.

For the first time, the 1LE package will be available on Camaro 1LT or 2LT coupes equipped with the 3.6L V6. Featuring more aggressive suspension tuning, standard Brembo brakes and Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, the LT 1LE delivers an estimated 0.97G in cornering grip. Available Recaro seats will keep you planted through the corners, and an available Performance Data Recorder will allow you to view and share your track experience.
